+1 for Mick's suggestion. Purdy Elite brushes are great with water based paints. Mind you the technique you employ can have a big effect on the end result.

Hi apl, I've been using the Picasso for cutting-in, mainly when using emulsion, I like the angle of the filament and the control the short handle gives.  I still prefer to use bristle with oil-based...

Cheers Goodwill, St. George's Day isn't celebrated enough imo. I must try a Picasso in emulsion sometime, still using Purdy's at the moment. I've been using more water based trim paints for some time...
